Recording Fees

Recording Fees

The job is not finished post closing for Regency Title & Escrow; a significant part of our services include the recording of new deeds. Regency Title & Escrow has the privilege of operating in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas concurrently. As a result, our associates are required to report the freshly-closed deeds to the registrar (TN), chancery (MS), and circuit (AR) clerks. The recording fees originate from the amount charged by each clerk in exchange for submitting new real estate transactions as public record. For Regency Title & Escrow, these fees are collected on each closing disclosure, and the resulting deeds are filed to the corresponding clerk within forty-eight hours.
